WCRF X Cook School: Calling all schools in Brent, London!
Welcome to Junior Cooks Club, a very special collaboration between Cook School and the World Cancer Research Fund being piloted in Brent, north-west London.
This four-week course is an engaging, easy-to-follow cookery programme for your school to use during curriculum time or at after-school clubs, and teaches children how to cook a new vegetarian recipe each week.
Cook School’s aim is to have a long-term beneficial impact on the nation’s health – which is why, to launch this course, we’re proud to be partnering with the World Cancer Research Fund.
Written by leading children’s cook-book author Amanda Grant, our recipes are tailored to each class’s age and developmental stage, enabling children to follow the instructions independently, and encouraging repeat cooking at home.
The course provides young children with all the skills they need to prepare a wide variety of nutritious family meals, and helps them to make positive (and delicious!) food choices.
